Chilli Lettings let and manage furnished and un-furnished properties throughout Farnborough, Camberley, Guildford, Aldershot & the surrounding areas. Viewings - All viewings will be arranged at times to suit you. A member of our staff will accompany you on the viewing and will be able to give guidance and assistance in any questions you may have.

Reserving A Property - After the initial viewing, should you wish to apply for the property we also require a holding deposit of £300.00 which removes the property from the market while your references are being processed. There is a £50.00 per person fee for the references this covers the administration costs involved.

References - We will require references from your employer and a previous or current landlord. In some cases we may also require a guarantor. Where a guarantor is not available some landlords may accept 6 months rent in advance. We also require all our tenants to have a credit check carried out. These checks are carried out through an independent company who will help us to evaluate each application. You will need to supply them with your name, full address, postcode, employment details and were applicable your previous or current landlord/letting agent. Please inform your referees that we will be contacting them as this will help to speed the process up.

Rents - All rents are quoted per calendar month and are payable in advance unless otherwise stated. As a tenant you will be responsible for the gas, electricity, water rates, council and any other utilities at the property unless otherwise stated.

Deposits - From 6 April 2007, all deposits taken by landlords and letting agents under Assured Shorthold Tenancies (ASTs) in England and Wales must be protected by a tenancy deposit protection scheme. Landlords and letting agents must not take a deposit unless it is dealt with under a tenancy deposit scheme. To avoid any disputes going to court, each scheme will be supported by an alternative dispute resolution service (ADR). Landlords and letting agents will be able to choose between two types of scheme; a single custodial scheme and two insurance-based schemes.
